Welcome to Gezellig House, a newly renovated upscale one-bedroom suite located in the Blueridge neighborhood of North Vancouver. The suite measures 600sqft and includes a private entrance that opens up to a peaceful backyard, complete with a full-size hot tub situated under 150' Douglas fir trees. Locked storage is available for mountain bikes and other outdoor gear.
About the Space
It’s a perfect location for experiencing the great outdoors here on The North Shore with endless mountain biking and hiking trails just up the street. Mount Seymour, Deep Cove, Northlands Golf Course and Cates Park are minutes away, while Northwoods Village and Parkgate Village provide convenient access to grocery stores, restaurants and pharmacies. Downtown Vancouver is a 20-to-25-minute drive with easy access to Hwy 1.
The suite includes a full-size kitchen complete with a fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave, espresso machine and all the accoutrements you’ll need to make a delicious meal. Cupboards are stocked with coffee, tea and a variety of condiments.
The living room is outfitted with a washer dryer, 55” flat screen TV, Amazon Echo for playing music via Bluetooth, as well as free WiFi. Access to WiFi and Netflix is free of charge. The couch also doubles as a sofa bed for sleeping two.
The bedroom includes a comfortable queen size bed, lots of pillows and a full-size desk. There’s a his and hers closet with pull out drawers and pant hangers located in the hallway, plus plenty of storage throughout the suite.

We are North Van locals who live in the home above - we have extensive knowledge of the area and are available to help make your stay comfortable, cozy and fun.
Free parking is available on the street in front of the house, the property is well lit after dark and the neighborhood is a quiet and peaceful family oriented setting. The suite is a pet free and smoke free space.

Summary: The unit was everything it showed in the photos and more, absolutely beautiful and spotless. The area was wonderful for our visit to Capilano Bridge and shopping nearby. I have never stayed at at a nicer VRBO and exspecially for the price. The bed was super comfy, the house was new and fresh. But unfortunately or time schedule didnt allow us to enjoy the unit for alonger stay, as much as we would've liked. I would book this place again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Vancouver, definitely 5 🌟 's.

Summary: We stayed here for 2 weeks as a "home base" when our daughter got married. It was the perfect respite from the business of the week prior to as well as a relaxing, quiet oasis post wedding. All amenities were as described, very clean and fresh. Hosts were available and helpful when necessary. A beautiful suite! We would not hesitate to stay again or recommend.

Summary: Clean and comfortable one bedroom suite , in the downstairs of the owners' home. Close to bus stop for Lonsdale Quay and on into Vancouver on the seabus. Car needed for shopping and getting about. Lots of places of interest nearby including Capilano suspension bridge, an hour's drive to Squamish and various walks and parks.
